CM Punjab launches the Livestock Card for women in rural areas. According to the details, a record package of Rs 2 billion has announced for 11,000 rural women of 12 districts for economic independence, rural women will provided with free cows and buffaloes to raise and earn a living, and a project is underway for women in Multan, Khanewal, Lodhran, Vehari, Bahawalpur, the Chief Minister Livestock Project is underway for rural women in Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, women of villages in Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Muzaffargarh will get free cows and buffaloes.

Women in the villages of Rajanpura, Kot Addu will get free cows and buffaloes. Poor women in the villages will be able to earn a decent living by raising cows and buffaloes. 80,000 livestock farmers will be able to take an interest-free loan of 27,000 per animal from the CM Livestock Card. Livestock farmers will be able to buy up to 270,000 wattles, mineral mixtures, and silage from registered dealers. Livestock farmers will be able to buy wattles, etc. with interest-free loans in equal installments for up to 4 months.

This package has specially designed for rural women so that they can meet the economic needs of their families through livestock farming. Implementation of a Modern System for Livestock Care
To facilitate livestock care, the Punjab government has also implemented the Animal Identity Traceability System, which will make it easier to identify livestock and get information about their health. An online registration facility has also been provided for farmers so that they can easily join this project.
