King Salman Relief Center Launches

The King Salman Relief Center launches a major food security project in Pakistan. 14,000 tons of food packages will distributed across Pakistan from December 2024 to November 2025. These packages will delivered to deserving people in all provinces, including Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. The project aims to help people in remote areas of Pakistan, who will be trying to improve their quality of life through food provision.

The program formally launched at a ceremony held at the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad. Federal Minister for Food Security, Rana Tanveer Hussain, thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on this occasion and said that Saudi Arabia has always stood by Pakistan and their help is of utmost importance to the deserving people of Pakistan. Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Saeed Al-Maliki also spoke on the occasion and said that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have historical and brotherly relations. Saudi Arabia will always stand by Pakistan and will not leave it in any difficult time.

The food packages provided by the King Salman Relief Center will weigh 95 kilograms, including 80 kilograms of flour, 5 kilograms of rice, and 5 kilograms of sugar. These packages have prepared to meet the needs of a family for one month and will distributed to deserving people with the support of the local government. Transparency will ensured in the completion and distribution process of this project so that the aid reaches the right people.

Distribution of Food Packages
