Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif says that it is our goal for disabled people to live their lives with dignity and freedom. 65,000 people across Punjab will be given financial assistance of Rs 10,500 per month through Himmat Card. So that they can meet their basic needs and not depend on others.

Step-by-Step Registration Process for the Himmat Card Online
Punjab Government has provided two methods of registration for Himmat Card. You can choose any of these methods to ensure your registration and apply for Himmat Card. One method is online while the other is offline. Both options are detailed below:
You can register for Himmat Card online using the PWD app. Government of Punjab has developed PWD app to help disabled persons to register with the government. To use this method, you will need an internet connection.
The PWD app required for Himmat Card registration is available on Play Store, App Store, and other app platforms. Here’s how you proceed after installing the app:
- First of all Create an account in the PWD app.
- Once your account is set up, sign in.
- You will see a list of options. Select the “Registration Form” option.
- Fill the form with your personal details like name, address, phone number, email, CNIC, father’s name, father’s CNIC, monthly income, and educational background.
- Review all your information to make sure it is correct.
- Click on the Book & Appointment option to schedule an appointment with the doctor.
- Meet the doctor on the selected date, who will confirm your disability and provide a certificate.
- This certificate is required for enrollment of Himmat Card. Once verified, you will be successfully registered.

Who Qualifies? Check the Eligibility Criteria
The Punjab government has outlined specific criteria to ensure that only eligible individuals get the Himat card and its associated benefits of Rs 10,500 every three months along with free government services. The criteria are as follows:
- You must have a recognized disability to qualify for a Courage Card.
- Your poverty score must be less than 30%.
- You must be a permanent resident of Punjab.
- Disability certificate approved by Punjab Social Welfare Department is required.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have a valid Pakistani Identity Card.
Required Documents for Himmat Card Registration

- Fill the form with your personal, educational and income details, and then submit it.
- After submission, your registration for Himmat Card will be complete. You will get free services and payment of Rs 10,500 every three months from Punjab Government.
