Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Introduces Free Plot Allocation Scheme for 3,200 Journalists in New Initiative. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced an important initiative to support journalists by providing 3200 free plots to eligible journalists in Lahore.   • Applicants must be accredited journalists affiliated with accredited news organizations or accredited freelance journalism.
  • Preference will be given to members of the Lahore Press Club, however applications from other registered journalists in Lahore will also be accepted.
  • Journalists must have a clean record, free of any professional misconduct or ethical violations.
  • Applicants must submit proof of Lahore residence and valid employment confirmation.
  • All applications will be thoroughly reviewed to ensure that deserving candidates get plots.

Punjab Government has simplified the registration process for easy access for journalists. Here’s how journalists can apply:

  • Interested journalists should submit their application forms, which will be made available by the Punjab Ministry of Information.
  • Applicants must include a valid press card, proof of employment, and residency documentation.
  • For Lahore Press Club members, applications must go through the club, as the club will assist in the government’s verification process.
  • In the coming days, an official advertisement will be released by the Ministry of Information, Punjab Calong with the application guidelines so that all eligible journalists can participate.

The application process will be completed as efficiently as possible, the authorities will review the submissions and finalize the allocation.
