رپورٹ کے مطابق پیٹرول پر چلنے والی 5 ہزار سے زیادہ اور 2 ہزار الیکٹرک بائیکس کی تقسیم مکمل ہو چکی ہے، پنجاب میں اسٹوڈنٹس کے لیے بائیکس کی تعداد 20 ہزارسے بڑھا کر 27 ہزار 200 کر دی گئی جب کہ محکمہ ٹرانسپورٹ نے الیکٹرک بائیکس کے لئے درخواست دینے والی تمام طالبات کو بائیکس دینے کا اعلان کیا ہے۔
ترجمان محکمہ ٹرانسپورٹ نے کہا کہ مزید ساڑھے 6 ہزار الیکٹرک بائیکس کی فراہمی پر کام جاری ہے، تمام بائیکس پر 2 سال کی انشورنس و سروس فراہم کی گئی ہے۔

مریم نواز نے کہا تھا کہ طلبہ پر بوجھ کم کرنے کے لیے ڈاؤن پیمنٹ کم کر کے 25 ہزار اور ماہانہ قسط بھی پانچ ہزار سے کم ہوگی، رواں سال مئی سے بائیکس کی تقسیم شروع کی جائے گی، امتحانات میں نمایاں کامیابی حاصل کرنے والے طلبہ کو بائیکس دینے کے لیے الگ سکیم لائیں گے۔

- Those female students who belong to poor families.
