Term And Conditions Prescribed By Punjab Govt For Registration
If you are involved in farming, live in Punjab, and want to get a special subsidy on agricultural machinery by registering for a Punjab government project, you need to fulfill the following requirements:
- The applicant must have a tractor of at least 50 horse power.
- The applicant should be the owner or farmer of agricultural land up to 25 acres in canal areas or up to 50 acres in rainfed areas.
- The farmer or service provider must agree to provide services to other farmers during the project period.
- No other application should submitted from any other center or district of Punjab for machinery or equipment under this scheme.
- Bookings should made with approved firms or companies within 10 days of receiving the allotment letter.
- Otherwise, the financial assistance will canceled and cannot challenged in any court.
- The aid will then go to the next eligible applicant on the waiting list.
- Machinery cannot sold or transferred in any form during the first four years.
- The applicant should attend a one day training session on operation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance with Assistant Agricultural Engineer or Assistant Director Agricultural Engineering of the concerned district and follow the decision of the Allotment Committee.
